Woodward Camp
I spent roughly five years working for Woodward Camp, charged with documenting the camp through photography, and then using the images as fodder to create promotional materials. I designed brochures, magazine ads, camp signage, t-shirts, flip flops, business cards, a website, and much more.
I like to layer images, combine ideas visually to create a composite image that tells a story. I guess that is what graphic design is. I always struggled personally with the notion that I was a hack, untrained, and noticed that my work tended not to look like traditional graphic design.
In retrospect, I think I got it right sometimes, and I enjoy looking back on what I created.
