Speedy el Caracol was an existing lesson from the commercially available SOMOS curriculum that my mentor teacher based his curriculum upon. The SOMOS curriculum is formatted like a digital textbook, which can be printed out and given to students as packets, or delivered as online content. In order to vary the presentation, I took existing lessons and created new ways to deliver the lessons including slideshows, games, and activities. Speedy is one such lesson.
